When you create an account, we collect your name and email address from your sign-in provider (Google or Apple). We also collect the content you choose to log in the app: angel number sightings, photos, reflections, moods, activities, and any personal notes or categories you create.

Categories of personal information we collect:

• Identifiers: name, email address
• User-generated content: photos, journal entries, sightings, moods, reflections, and custom categories you create
• Usage data: basic app activity such as features used and session information, collected to operate and improve the Service

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the Angel App experience — displaying your personal gallery, generating your Memory Recap, and personalizing your spiritual journaling. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties for their own purposes.

Your photos are stored securely in cloud storage for the sole purpose of displaying your personal gallery and generating your Memory Recap collage. We do not view, access, analyze, or use your photos for any other purpose, including marketing or advertising. Your photos and sightings are private to your account and are never visible to other users or to us in the ordinary course of operating the Service.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this practice ever changes, we will update this policy and provide you with the right to opt out before any such sharing occurs.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through My Account settings, all of your data — including your photos, sightings, reflections, and personal categories — is permanently deleted from our systems. You may also delete individual sightings at any time from within the app.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard encryption and secure cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell it)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Children's Privacy

Angel App is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 17, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor under 17 has created an account, please contact us at hello@officialangelapp.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
